Last financial year, WA Guarantee 190/491 made four major changes in the 2022-23 financial year basically no other words. It also expanded the list of occupations from 120 to more than 300. In addition to many occupations that had been shunned, including accounting, IT and other technical occupations, the list still includes Cook, Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse and ICT Business Analyst.

In the 2022-23 financial year, Western Australia will be open to foreign applicants. The invited priority levels are:

Applicants residing in Western Australia;

Applicants residing in Australia but not residing in Western Australia:

Applicants residing overseas.

Western Australia, originally the least friendly state to foreign state applicants, has announced what appears to be the most friendly policy to foreign states. It can be seen that the battle for people in the states this fiscal year has begun.

This time, the number of occupations applied in Western Australia has also increased from more than 100 occupations in the last financial year to more than 300 occupations in this financial year, and the requirements including work experience requirements, contract requirements and hours have not changed. Most of the occupations listed in schedule 1 and schedule 2 are hot occupations for immigrants, including accounting, IT, engineering, preschool education, social worker, etc. Out-of-state applicants, as long as they can find a job in Western Australia, get a state guarantee in Western Australia is just a matter of grabbing places.

For most health care applicants, who have more than one year of work experience outside the state, as long as they get a full-time six-month work contract in Western Australia, 190/491 is also not a problem.

However, if the visa was previously refused, now holding a bridge visa, with s48 applicants, Western Australia can also issue a state guarantee.
